What's the Program?

The DEIA Catalyst Program is a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) within micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in India. Through awareness sessions, in-person boot camps, policy development support, and participation in national dialogue forums, the program aims to equip participating organisations with the tools and resources needed to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape.

About the program: 
Villgro and CISCO’s 12-month program to support seven entrepreneurs creating transformative solutions across three key areas: Digital Solutions Led by Women, Digital Solutions Impacting Women, and Technology/Digital Solutions Enabling Financial Inclusion. 

Focus areas: Climate Action, Healthcare, Financial Inclusion

Incentives: 

1. Funding up to INR 2 Cr 
2. Strengthening of technology to eliminate/reduce gender biases 
3. Strategic mentoring & technical assistance to scale  
4. Opportunities to implement gender pilots 
5. Access to markets, relevant peers, partners & networks for business expansion
6. Unlock access to gender impact investors 

Eligibility criteria 

1. Company registered as Pvt Limited
2. Digital product/service in the market/ready for commercialization 
3. Enterprises with a minimum 30% ownership/founded by a woman
4. Entities developing climate or health solutions for social and/or financial inclusion.
5. At least 30% of product customers are women, or women are the primary beneficiaries of the products/services.
6. Participants who previously received monetary awards in the TVARAN 1.0/ Cisco Global 
Problem Solver Challenge/ Cisco prize at the Rice Business Plan competition are ineligible.
